Tatarakihi Kapahaka Festival

On friday our school Kapahaka group traveled to a tatarakihi kapahaka festival. We left our homes to go to Tatarakihi at 7:30 and we performed at quarter to ten. 

When we performed and when the audience clapped it felt so good because we made them happy and I felt like crying.

Rarotonga

I was on a trip of my lifetime with my family beside me and the wind on my face to Auckland and then Rarotonga.

We started to walk onto the plane at 6:50. I touched the outside of the plane with both of my hands as I walked into the plane.

We left to go to Rarotonga at 7:10 on Saturday night, but we arrived there at 1 am Saturday morning. The whole time we were in the plane I couldn’t get to sleep except the last quarter off the flight. When we walked out of the plane it was like a heater on your body. We were waiting to get our passports checked for 20 minutes. “Finally!” I said in my head when we got to our room at the edgewater resort. (We were staying at Rarotonga for one week). Here’s a picture of where we stayed.

As you can see in the first picture, the beach is right beside the resort. 5 of the days we were there I went snorkeling. These are the types of fish we saw.

I spent more time being wet in Raro than I was dry, because I loved the snorkeling so much.

One day I was with my mum on our scooter that we had hired, and we zoomed to a shop with all these cool sporting singlets in it. We looked around for a bit and then I chose one.

It looked like this

For the rest of that day I wore the singlet.

The next day my cousins came over to the resort to play in the pool with me. We were having so much fun. My mum and all of my aunties were sun bathing.

The next day my cousins came over again to play. We were in the kids club watching how to open a coconut. 10 minutes later we went hunting for coconuts. “Yay finally” I said when I found one. Me and my cousins were trying to find a stick that was long and thick. Than we stuck the stick into the ground and started carving away at the coconut to get the milk. I had a sip of the coconut milk. It tasted like fermented water. I suddenly spat it out as soon as I took that sip. But my cousins tried it and they loved it.

The Guy That Has No Friends

Purpose: To Entertain.

CHAPTER 1

Once upon a time there was a family living in a mansion. The mansion was in the middle of the forest. They had a backyard, with a slide and a swing into a lake, everything anyone would wish for. They also had 4 kittens and 2 puppies. There was a boy named Cody and he had a best friend called Taine.

One day Taine was invited to Cody’s house to play. They were playing on the slide and swing suddenly they heard an evil laugh “ha ha ha ha” Marshall said. Marshall is a clown. Marshall started running at Cody and Taine. Suddenly Taine farted and Cody said “it’s not the right time to do some farts”. Taine shouted out “let’s sprint away now”. So they sprinted inside, locked all the doors and shut all the curtains and hid in Cody's wardrobe with there phones. “ BANG!! BANG!!” they both heard on the door. The kids were texting and texting their friends and mum to come and bash Marshall. But Marshall finally broke in and ran up the stairs to Cody’s wardrobe. He looked inside and said to Cody and Taine “I just want some friends, I have none”. They said at the same time “ok we will be your friend Marshall”.

CHAPTER 2

Two years later all of them, Cody, Taine and Marshall were best friends. They were going on a trip together to Rarotonga for a party. There was a hotel that they were going to stay in for 2 weeks. The room that they were going to stay in was the flashest one there. It costed 200 dollars for one night each. But the good thing was they were all rich.

“Let's go snorkeling” Taine shouted. “Ok”, Cody and Marshall said at the same time. “Look there's a tropical fish”, Cody bubbled.

After they went snorkeling a party was on. The song name at the party was( I’m sexy and I know it). LINK TO SONG

Lots of people were doing weird dance

moves except, Cody, Taine and Marshall. The best friends dance moves were, the caterpillar, sprinkler and lots of other cool dance moves.

The Wolves In The Meadow

Once upon a time the was a boy called Max. He was 8 years old, his mum was  36 and his dad was 42. They all lived in a flash cottage anyone could wish for.

One day there was a wolf pack coming straight to the cottage. Max called out lock all the windows and doors. “HIDE!!” Max shouted. The wolf pack busted down the doors and started sniffing at stuff. Suddenly the wolf got hold of the mum and dad and started ripping them to pieces.

While the wolf's were focused on that Max ran as fast as he can into town. He hid in a shop but suddenly the shopkeeper asked him “why are you here kid”. He said i’m here because I live in a cottage and a wolf pack are ripping my mum and dad to pieces. The shopkeeper yelled out from the top of his lungs, run a wolf pack coming. Everyone panicked and sprinted away, But Max was still hiding and the wolves kept chasing the other people. He went to go check on his mum and dad thankfully they were both alive.

CHAPTER TWO

Max was 10 years old, mum was 38 and dad was 44. The cottage was abandoned and they lived in a new house. This house is in the middle of town where there is lots of traffic everywhere. Now there are shopping malls, bakeries, and dairies everywhere.

But one day the family were going for a walk and they heard screaming. They all looked around the corner and they saw that same wolf pack. The dad said in his head “ it’s time to end this”. He went in the closest shop and got a Automatic machine gun.

He started shooting at the wolves but he suddenly ran out of ammo. “Only got five out of ten” dad said. The other 5 started running at the family. All of them reached in the pocket and got a knife out. They all threatened the wolves, all of a sudden the wolves ran back in the forest. They walked away like they were gangsters. While they were walking away all of them heard wolves howling in the meadow.

Birthday writing 29th of April 2007

CHAPTER ONE

It was at that moment I got in the flashest shirt and pants to go out on the night before my birthday with my family. My family were going out to LONE STAR. That night I got a 125 dollars from all of my family. My cousin had 12 ribs but it looked like 30 ribs.  

CHAPTER TWO

It was at that moment I woke up and shouted “yay its my birthday”. I ran down to my mum and dad's room and jumped on my mum and woke her up. I yelled in her ear “it’s my birthday, it’s my birthday”. She ran down the other end of the house to get all of my presents. She came back with one and a half bags full of presents and 5 cards. I opened up all of the presents but my favorite one was the new hurricanes jersey.

CHAPTER 3

I traveled with my dad to rugby. The opposite team won, but the good thing is I got the best knock over in the game. I was running with the ball and then my friend came running at me and I dropped my shoulder and then my shoulder hit him in the face and he had to go off the field. The person who went of the field was Ryan Roberts. Suddenly the rugby game finished and my friend from the other team came with me because he was invited to my birthday.

We went home and we played on the scooters and out on the back yard. We were going to leave to go to the pools at 2 30. On the way we picked up Keiran at 215 in the afternoon. Tt was Cody, Xavier, Taine and Keiran in the car. We were going to meet Marshall, Ngamotu and Lloyd at the pools.

Suddenly I saw Lloyd arrive at the pools and a couple minutes after I saw Marshall. We kept going on the massive inflatable obstacle course. Straight after the inflatable we went into the spa.

But the best bit was when we were outside on the diving board and the toddler playground. The toddler playground was fun because we kept laughing and being silly. On the playground there was a slide but it wasn't a toddler slide. We went down the slide when we were wet and we slid down the slide like slippery snakes. When we got dry we jumped in the pool right in front of the slide.

I decided to walk away and play on the diving boards. The diving boards were fun because we played, who can make the smallest splash of the top diving board. Ngamotu won that competition because he was the skinniest person who was doing the competition.

20 MINUTES LATER.

My mum came with some 2 packets of fruit bursts, rashuns and a 8 pack of grape juice.

Chapter 4

After the pools we went to bowlarama to do mini putt.

Horror story by Cody Read

Once upon a time there was an old man living in a cottage in the woods. It was midnight and he was taking a walk in the forest suddenly he heard snapping in the bushes. He started to run FAST!!! He tripped over a route and got a broken leg. He heard the snapping again he tried to crawl but it was to hard, he rested his leg up on a rock and then fell asleep. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. The next day on the news it said “murder in the forest no one go in there”. The murderer was a killer clown. There was a search party in the forest the next day, the search party found the dead body but suddenly they heard screaming and laughing. They followed the noises and they saw 5 killer clowns killing a girl. They all started to shoot at the clowns but they all missed. Suddenly someone got out a taser and tased a clown. The person took of the mask and the klown was the president. All the other clowns started to run. The search party called the cops and said “we saw killer clowns attacking a girl but we only got one”. The cops came and they said “we saw 4 clowns running away but we will take the president to jail now”. The next day there was a murder in the sewers all the policemen said “aaahhhh not again”.
